George R.R. Martin’s Response to Speculations He’ll Die Before Finishing a Song of Ice and Fire

A friend just linked me to an A.V. Club story on George R.R. Martin’s response to fan worries and speculation as to whether he might die before finishing A Song of Ice and Fire (perhaps better known as Game of Thrones).  Just a warning: it’s crass, blunt, and hilarious (basically, “@#$% you”).

I’d be pretty annoyed, too, if I were just living my life and a bunch of people kept talking about my death.  Although, if that meant I was even half as successful as the A Game of Thrones author, it’d be worth it.

  1. They should stop interviewing him !!! let him work 😀 😀 I’ve also read somewhere that Georges Martin told how he intended to finish the story to the producers of the TV shows so if something happens, they could finish it. I’m not sure if it’s true or not. I can’t remember the source.
